  • Melanoma Research Foundation was founded by melanoma patients and survivors to fund melanoma research because there is no cure for melanoma. We are dedicated to finding a cure. The MRF seeks donations and other sources of contributions to in turn fund research grants to the top melanoma researchers. We are striving to ensure that a cure for melanoma will be found at the earliest possible moment. Since MRF research grants go directly to melanoma researchers, nearly all individual donations go directly to fund research. MRF invites you to join us in our quest for a melanoma cure by browsing further on our website and taking advantage of the opportunities we provide to join in the fight against melanoma.

  • Melanoma Education Fund provides education about melanoma, emphasizing the importance of monthly self-examination of the skin to detect melanomas early

  • The National Melanoma Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit public charity whose purpose is to combat malignant melanoma through education and awareness, prevention, early detection, collaboration with other groups and governmental entities, research, professional and public outreach, treatment, and support and referral services to newly diagnosed patients.

  • The Foreman Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds for melanoma research and education. It was established in memory of John Bruno, Jr., a friend who lost his battle with melanoma in 1992 at the age of 27. We have donted nearly $450,000 to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, an internationally renowned research facility. These funds led to the creation of a research laboratory, dedicated exclusively to melanoma research at the medical center. Dr. Gavin Robertson, an experienced cancer researcher, leads a talented staff that is aggressively searching for a cure.

We constantly seek ways to improve melanoma education and awareness efforts. To do this, our organization encourages collaborative opportunities with other non-profit organizations. We all have common goals - to educate the public on the dangers of melanoma and to ultimately find a cure for this disease. It's important that we work together to reach these goals as quickly as possible.

  • The Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in West Palm Beach, Florida. The mission of the Foundation is to save lives by educating the public on sun safety and the prevention and early detection of skin cancer. The Foundation was started in 1995 by the family of Richard Kann, after his death of a late-detected melanoma. The Foundation has created a unique curriculum, SunSmart America, which is being utilized by schools in South Florida and across the country. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention featured SunSmart America as part of their on-line high school contest in 2002.
